2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Silverado, America’s most capable pickup, rolls into 2018 with a number of changes, upgrades and new features. The color palette is refreshed on the 2018 Silverado 1500 – we say goodbye to Siren Red Tintcoat and Pepperdust Metallic, and greet Cajun Red Tintcoat and Havanna Metallic. The exterior of certain models also get new box side decals. The LS Convenience Package has been jettisoned for 2018, but weep not, because last year’s standard 4-speaker audio system has been upgraded to 6 speakers this year. Work Truck models now get the Chevrolet MyLink 7-inch screen, an upgrade from last-year’s 4.2-inch screen.

For 2018, the Rear Vision Camera moves from optional equipment to standard on all models. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System is upgraded with Tire Fill Alert for added convenience. Certain options, such as a 110-volt power outlet and inclusion of OnStar and Sirius XM Satellite Radio have become more available. The Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD gets some additional changes, including a new black grille mesh on Z71 and High Country models, and the deletion of Butte Red Metallic paint. Certain HD models get the Chevrolet MyLink Radio with 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen, with or without navigation.
