The Corvette ZR1 engine specs and supercar technology are truly astounding. As the fastest Corvette ever, the 2025 Chevy Corvette ZR1 boasts 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque thanks to the twin turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine, which is matched with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. It’s hard to imagine that level of power, but Dustin Gardner, Assistant Chief Engineer Small Block Engines, provides some insight. In his words:
The way the horsepower builds with that constant torque feels like you’re strapped to an aircraft carrier. You’re getting fired off in a jet plane
When properly equipped, the Corvette ZR1 is capable of going from zero to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, with a quarter mile time of 9.6 seconds at 150 mph. Clearly, this Corvette is not for the faint of heart.
Now lets talk 2025 ZR1 aerodynamics.
